On January 9, 2021, at the age of 101, a resident of the House on the embankment, physicist Isaac Markovich Khalatnikov, passed away. In the 1940s and 1950s, Isaak Khalatnikov was part of a group of theoretical scientists working on the development of nuclear weapons. The scientist conducted joint research together with the great physicist Lev Landau.
